New artist to Online Ceramics, Ben Brierley

Ben Brierley is Online Ceramic’s newest artist. Ben’s work  consists of thrown and hand built forms that have been wood fired at 1,400 degrees centigrade over four days.

Ben uses is own stoneware and porcelain clays, which are heavily grogged to cope with the dynamics of the firing. The finish of the pot depends on where it is positioned in the kiln.
