This is a slab built salt-glazed blue/black open double curl by Ruth King. Once Ruth constructed this pot she then sprayed it with a slip onto the stoneware clay before first bisque firing it in an electric kiln. Ruth then fires it in her gas kiln then she adds the salt at the height of the firing. The base of this pot has been signed and stamped by Ruth.
