Chawan – soft brush landscape pattern

This is a large thrown porcelain tea bowl by Richard Heeley. Richard has decorated this chawan with his soft brush landscape pattern using blue cobalt Gosu pigment. This pot also comes in a wooden box, wrapped in mulberry paper, both of which have been painted by Richard. Richard is pictured holding this pot that he has stamped on the base with his potters marks.
