This is a slab built salt-glazed vessel with warm interior by Ruth King. Once Ruth constructed this pot she then sprayed it with a slip onto the stoneware clay before first bisque firing it in an electric kiln, then firing it in her gas kiln where she adds the salt at the height of the firing. Ruth is pictured holding this pot that she has stamped and signed on the base.
