This is a slab built salt-glazed singing fin by Ruth King. Once Ruth constructed this pot she then sprayed it with a slip onto the stoneware clay before first bisque firing it in an electric kiln, then firing it in her gas kiln where she adds the salt at the height of the firing. Ruth has stamped and signed this pot the base.
