This is a thrown and altered stoneware moon jar by James Hake. The jar has been glazed in gold shino with oak ash forming crystals. There has been carbon trapping which has given the pot a lustred finish. James has stamped the base of this pot with his potters mark. In the image of the two moon jars, this is the large one on the right.
