Abi Higgins uses Porcelain clay for Raku and high-fired ware. Its whiteness allows the colour of the glaze to be true, particularly the ancient reduction fired celadon glaze.
Raku has exciting unpredictability. Each pot has individuality almost as though it collaborated with maker and fire gods to create its own decoration.
