Cumbria moon jar 

A wood-fired stoneware moon jar by Matthew Blakely, crafted entirely from materials he sourced and prepared himself. The clay body and glaze were made using rocks collected in Cumbria, which Matthew ground by hand to create a deep connection between the landscape and the finished piece. The artist is shown holding this pot.
