Dark oval with curved spurs

This is a slab built salt-glazed dark oval with curved spurs by Ruth King. Once Ruth constructed this pot she then sprayed it with slip onto the stoneware clay before first bisque firing it in an electric kiln. Ruth then re-fires it in her gas kiln that is then she adds the salt at the height of the firing. Ruth is pictured holding this pot that she has signed and stamped on the base..
