Large oval vase

This is a large oval slip-cast vase by Lara Scobie decorated with a combination of inlay and sgraffito with a bright yellow slip interior. Although unglazed, the high fired parian clay used by Lara is vitrified and able to hold liquids. Lara is pictured holding this pot that she has signed on the base.
