Large wood fired vase

A thrown and assembled vase by Ben Brierley where he has used heavily grogged stoneware clay. It has a shino glazed interior and has been anagama wood fired the sections more exposed to the flame have a richer, deeper colour and glaze. Ben is pictured holding the pot. The close-up shots provide clear details of the texture of the clay.
