Lidded jar

This is a thrown and altered stoneware jar by Margaret Curtis. Margaret has poured porcelain slip then an iron celadon glaze onto the body. The vessel has then been fired in an oil kiln to 1300c giving the body and glaze depth. Margaret is pictured holding this jar. In the photo of the two jars, this is the larger of the two.
