These are two large ‘river object’ hand-built stoneware sculptures by Jane Cairns that she has fired multiple times to create unique textured surface. Jane has named this form after seeing abandoned objects with holes on the River Thames foreshore. This sculpture, that Jane is pictured holding, consists of two mirroring objects both 48 cm tall and 16.7 cm wide.
