A small thrown stoneware sphere by Matthew Blakely, crafted from materials sourced directly from the Malverns. Matthew collected and hand-ground the local rocks to create both the clay body and glaze before wood-firing the piece to achieve its natural finish. The artist is shown holding the signed jar.
