Thrown and cut vessel

This is a thrown, cut and assembled earthenware vessel by John Pollex that he has applied a heavy application of thick slip. When leather hard John decorated this pot in his rich palette of coloured slips. John is pictured holding this vessel that he has stamped with his potters mark.
