Online Ceramics took a trip to London’s Primrose Hill, to meet with Emmanuel Cooper to pick up a few new pots for the website which will replenish those sold.
Primrose Hill is a fabulous (and totally gorgeous) residential area sandwiched between thriving Camden Town and relaxing Regent’s Park. Emmanuel’s studio is in what was once a butchers shop – there still remains suspended racking that once hung meat. Because it is situated on a corner with the east and south sides consisting of largely glass, the studio is totally flooded with light.
Emmanuel is pictured holding one of the pots, a large stoneware bowl fired in his volcanic looking glaze.
