New work by Tina Vlassopulos

Online Ceramcis is the first gallery to make Tina Vlassopulos’ new designs available to the public. Like all of Tina’s one-off pieces, they are coil built with stoneware clay that has been coloured with oxides. Once the vessels are built and the clay is leather hard, Tina meticulously burnishes every part of the pot, even the most challenging crevices.

Tina always builds a sense of movement into her work. These new pieces take on different characteristics from different viewing angles. With these new shapes she has managed to add  an  extra dose of fun to produce these truly unique works.
