Despite the Bank Holiday traffic, Online Ceramics managed to visit Walter Keeler and Geoffrey Swindell, over Easter. Both potters work from home, Keeler in Penallt, a small village close to Monmouth on the English/Welsh boarder and Swindell on the outskirts of Cardiff.
We were very light on both potters work. Keeler had a busy twelve months and this was our first opportunity to catch up with him. During the visit Online Ceramics Owner, Peter Ward, chose some classic saltglaze jugs and some inkwash earthenware.
Peter Ward said, ‘Having spent all winter making, Geoffrey Swindell and a really good choice of his famous porcelain miniatures. That made the job of selecting just a small number very difficult. I love Geoffrey’s teapots and I’m really pleased with the two I chose.’
All work selected over Easter is now available to view or purchase.
