Woodland vase (tall)

This tall thrown stoneware vase by Richard St John Heeley is hand decorated in his woodland design using oxides, before being finished with a shino glaze and wood fired. Richard is pictured holding the vase, which bears his impressed potter’s marks on the base. In the photograph of the two vases, this is the larger vase on the right.
