This is a thrown and altered stoneware rugged bowl by Matthew Blakely. The body and glaze of this pot was entirely made using rocks Matthew had collected from Dartmoor then ground down by hand. The pot was then wood fired. Matthew is pictured holding this jar that he has stamped on the base with his potters mark (slightly obscured by the glaze).
