John Pollex showcase at Contemporary Cermics

The inspiration behind Online Ceramics, slipware potter John Pollex, will be holding a one man show at the UK’s most prestigious studio pottery gallery, Contemporary Ceramics Centre, 63 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3BF (opposite the British Museum). The Private View will be held on Wednesday 28th March from 6.00 – 8.00 pm, with a gallery talk being given by John at 4.00 pm. The exhibition will run until 21 April 2012.

To coincide with the exhibition John has made five figurines which are only available from this website. They are true ‘one off’s’ which he has slab built and decorated using his trademark brightly coloured slips. The five pieces each stand approximately 31 cm tall and are highly desirable. John will ship the pieces directly to the lucky purchasers.
