We travelled 360 miles to visit potter, Jack Doherty, at his home and studio in Mousehole. There isn’t much of England left once you reach Mousehole, it is situated at the far westerly point of Cornwall, just before Lands End.

The journey was worth it. We picked up magnificent soda fired porcelain vessels, most of which had been unpacked from the kiln that morning. It will be a couple of weeks before they are added to the Gallery.
