Colin Pearson – large winged vessel

This large thrown stoneware vessel by Colin Pearson (1923–2007) features distinctive double wings covered in a bronze glaze. Pearson was a hugely influential figure in contemporary British ceramics, inspiring generations of potters, including two Online Ceramics artists, John Pollex and Richard Phethean.
