This is a large thrown and altered square stoneware bottle by Jim Malone. The pot was covered in iron slip by Jim before he beautifully decorates the panels with brushed slip cobalt in a leaf design. Jim has stamped the base of this bottle twice with initials ‘JM’ and ‘A’ for Ainstable where he made this pot.
