Pair of mugs

A pair of hand-thrown stoneware mugs by Harriet Coleridge, wood-fired to produce subtle variations in colour and surface. As the flames move around the mugs during firing, they leave their own distinctive marks, meaning that the two mugs differ slightly in size and appearance. Harriet is pictured holding the mugs, both of which are stamped with her potter’s mark.
