Rachel Wood – international potter

Rachel Wood has now been with Online Ceramics for 7 years. Over that time her stoneware vessels have proven popular not just with UK collectors, but across Europe and the rest of the world. In 2016 Rachel was the winner of the Preis der ‘Neuen Keramik’ and in 2017 she was the Winner of the ‘Diessener Keramikpreis’. Rachel will be spending the best part of 2019 at the Sturt Centre in Australia teaching, demonstrating and making her pottery creations for an exhibition at Sturt later this year.

‘I’m a little concerned with Rachel on the other side of the world in Australia until the New Year we might run out of her pots. However, I’m looking forward seeing how her time in Australia has influenced her work.’
