This wheel-thrown enclosed form vase with motif opening by Francis Lloyd-Jones. Finished in black slip and then fired in a salt kiln, the pot has a deep, almost metallic surface. Francis is pictured holding the pot, which bears his impressed potter’s mark on the base.
