Teapot with copper handle

This wheel-thrown and assembled stoneware teapot by Francis Lloyd-Jones has a copper handle and was first glazed in tenmoku before being fired in a salt-glaze kiln. The firing process gives the teapot a deep, lustrous surface with gentle tonal variation. Francis is pictured holding the pot, which bears his impressed potter’s mark on the base.
